Bio

Orrin has over 20 years of independent and corporate professional human resource development experience, both domestic and international, with "blue chip" companies from a variety of industries, as well as with public agencies. He has worked successfully with all levels of management and employees in developing skills, improving organizational climate and productivity, creating a vision, and achieving corporate objectives. His practice covers the full range of human resource development activities including:

  • Organizational Development - Total Quality Management, process consultation, team building, organization structure and design.

  • Management Development - Human resource planning, performance appraisal, succession planning, executive coaching, and outplacement counseling.

  • Training - Needs analysis, program design, presentation and facilitation, and training evaluation.

Client assignments cover a broad spectrum of industries including telecommunications, flavor and fragrances, pharmaceutical, retail, and public sector and non-profit organizations in both the criminal justice and education field. Orrin has been responsible for directing training and development at Hoffmann-La Roche, Baker Industries, Warner Lambert Company, Tenneco Chemicals, and NL Industries.

Orrin has been awarded the FDA Commissioner's Special Citation, the President's Quality Award from Hoffmann-La Roche, and the Human Resources Diamond Award from AT&T. He is certified to conduct a variety of programs by Development Dimensions International, Forum Corporation, Xerox Learning Systems, and Blessing White. He is also a certified facilitator of Future Search Conferences.

Orrin holds an M. Div. in pastoral counseling from Colgate Rochester Divinity School, and a BA degree in psychology from Tufts University. In addition, he has done post-graduate work at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Montclair State College, and has completed training workshops with professional organizations including NTL. He is a member of the NJ Human Resources Planning Group, the NJ Organization Development Network, and the Future Search Network. He is also an AARP Senior Cents volunteer with The Family Service of Morris County, NJ.
